About Eastern Carolina Emergency Physicians (ECEP)

Eastern Carolina Emergency Physicians (ECEP) was founded in 35 years ago by a group of residency trained emergency physicians that were looking for the opportunity to provide a high level of emergency care for the local communities where they reside. ECEP values clinicians who are seeking a culture of accountability and who possess the innovation necessary to meet today’s healthcare challenges.

ECEP provides emergency physician services at four North-Carolina hospitals: New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Orthopedic Hospital, Emergency Department – North, and Pender Memorial Hospital. Learn more about ECEP’s locations below.
