(Emergency Care Management, LLC d/b/a Emergency Care Partners has openings in Lafayette, LA) Sr. Software Engineer: Design and develop cloud-based software application systems and components for the medical field, specifically in the area of emergency medicine process improvement and integration with hospital admissions systems, electronic medical records systems, emergency department information systems, patient data collection and reporting, and databases. Analyze and document system requirements and code to acceptance criteria. Oversee design of application server architecture and perform unit and system testing. Participate in paired programming and code reviews. Train clients on the use of developed data integration systems. Maintain work progress in appropriate process tools and follow quality processes within an FDLC (Full Development Life Cycle) environment. Participate in Agile practices for development of tasks, timeframes, design, code, test scripts, and documentation as part of the DevOps team. Exercise technical oversight over the work of Software Development Interns. Requires travel (approximately 20%) to meet with hospital emergency departments and informatics teams nationwide. Requires Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and 6 months of experience. 6 months must include experience with Azure, AWS, database architecture, ETL, business intelligence, advanced analytics, C#, JavaScript, HL7 Integration Engine (Mirth Connect, Cloverleaf, and Corepoint), HL7 Standards, ICD-10 Codes, and medical billing cycle data.
