Amy Provost is chief operating officer of ECP. She has over 28 years of experience in healthcare, including direct patient care in the hospital setting as well as emergency department contract management.
Previously, she served as chief operating officer of Professional Emergency Medicine Management (PEMM), where she was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization, including the management of a team of nurses, recruiters, credentialing, human resources, payroll and paralegal personnel.
For thirteen years prior to joining PEMM, Mrs. Provost was a regional vice president for one of the top three emergency medicine contract management companies in the country, where she was responsible for managing hospital contracts across Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi. In her role there, she also provided direct oversight for the recruiting, credentialing and scheduling teams as well as the clinical operations of each contract. She also served as the primary contact person for all interface with the hospital executive teams in her region.
Mrs. Provost earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Southwest Louisiana.
