Kirk Richard

Kirk Richard serves as Chief Administrative Officer. Mr. Richard joined Professional Emergency Medicine Management (PEMM) as its co-founder in 2013. Prior to PEMM, Mr. Richard founded Horizon Research and Total Support Medical Staffing and worked in sales at Med Data Management/Med Link Systems. For the majority of his career, Mr. Richard has served as a regional recruiter and regional vice president for one of the top three emergency medicine contract management firms in the country.

In his recruiting role, Mr. Richard was responsible for recruiting physicians and APPs into emergency departments across the state of Louisiana.

As regional vice president, he managed a team of recruiters, schedulers and credentialing personnel who supported the day-to-day operations in more than 40 hospitals across Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. He also interacted directly with hospital executive team members on departmental process improvement measures and contract negotiations.

Mr. Richard earned a Bachelor of Science in information management from the University of Southwest Louisiana.
